I joined Smith & Smith Orthodontics in June 2013. As practice administrator, I have the pleasure of seeing each patient that comes through our office and I love providing efficient and compassionate service. Taking great care of our patients is a top priority for me.

My family includes my husband, Shawn, two children, and son-in-law. Gardening and going to the coast are two of my favorite pastimes.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and joined Dr. Smith's team in June of 2022. Having been a patient, and now on Dr. Smith's team, continues to be a wonderful experience. It is a pleasure being able to see each patient throughout their whole treatment process. 

My family includes my husband, Kyle, and our dog Woody. You may see Woody at the office occasionally ready to greet you with a wag and a smile. When not at work I can often be found adventuring and going to the mountains!

Orthodontic Assistant

I joined Smith and Smith Orthodontics team while completing my clinical rotations for the Dental Assisting Program with Central Carolina Community College. Upon graduating in July 2017, I was hired as an orthodontic assistant for the practice. I am also an appointment coordinator, so I have the opportunity to interact with our patients both clinically and administratively.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dustan and my sons, Brayden and Ryder.

I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1987.

I joined Dr. Smith in 1993 and work with our patients to ensure their orthodontic treatment progresses smoothly and on time. 

I truly enjoy being part of such a wonderful, dedicated, and caring team of doctors and staff.  I am married with two beautiful daughters Taylor and Savanna.  In my free time I love trips to the beach, working out and spending time with my children watching them play sports.

I joined Dr. Smith's team in December 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed working with each of our patients. Being part of the Smith Orthodontic team has made me feel like I work with family each day. 

My family consists of my husband, Jeremy, two boys, and we have a baby girl on the way.  In my free time I love trips to the beach and spending time with my family.

I joined Dr. Smith's team in January 2022 and having known Dr. Smith and this team most of my life, has been a true joy being able to work with them. Being a past patient and now staff on this team is very meaningful to me. 

My family consists of my husband, Tyler, and our dog Ivy. Tyler and I enjoy visiting local food trucks and businesses.

I started working as a dental assistant in 2003. In 2009 I completed a degree in dental hygiene and in 2014 I finished a Bachelor degree in dental hygiene. I started working with Dr. Brian in 2013, providing chairside assistance with placing, adjusting, and removing braces and appliances. I also teach patients about oral hygiene and appliance care, encouraging them to keep their mouth clean and healthy. I love spending my days around people who are changing their lives with new smiles!

My husband Bryan and I are blessed with our daughter, Macy, and we have a lab-retriever puppy, too! We enjoy spending time with loved ones, taking family hikes, and traveling.

I've worked in the medical field for over 12 years. I started working with Dr. Brian in May 2017 as an appointment coordinator. I have the pleasure of getting to know each patient that comes through our office, and I am committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable experience every time you visit. I feel very blessed to have been asked to be a part of such an amazing team.

My husband Allen and I have three wonderful children: Emily, Caleb, and Carter. I love spending my time with my family, crafting, and the beach. I am also involved with several organizations that serve my community.

I’ve been in the oral healthcare field since 1992, when I completed a degree in dental assisting/hygiene. I love being part of Smith & Smith Orthodontics! We have an incredible team and our patients are wonderful people. It’s amazing to watch a person transform! It’s a blessing to get to know patients on a personal level and experience part of their life during treatment. I manage our office, ensuring a consistent and effective flow. I also meet and work with our new patients and parents as they start their orthodontic journey. I love making them feel comfortable and excited about getting a new smile!

I’m a long-time resident of Pamlico County. My husband Richard and I have two boys, Trey and Christian, who are in high school, and a daughter, Lillie Grace, who’s in elementary school. I enjoy serving as the PTF president at the children’s school. I’m also a real estate agent. Our family loves sports, going to the beach, and playing cards and board games together.

I’ve worked in the field for about 20 years and joined Drs. Smith and our team in 2015. I love being part of helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams and getting to know them on a personal level. My favorite day is when we take off the braces and our patient can’t stop looking in the mirror and sharing their big, beautiful, happy new smile! I assist Dr. Brian with patient care, including changing wires and placing braces.

My husband Fred and I have four children: Mya, Carlee, Amy, and Alan. We also have three dogs. Fred works for GE and travels a lot, so I’m kept busy caring for the kids and our home.
